These terms cover the zombit.io website and the apps made by Zombit Studios LLC ("Zombit Studios", "we", "us"): Always On Time (including its Wear OS companion and its AI assistant connector), Artillery Let Loose, Montessori Visual Timer, Word Garden (including its web version at wordgarden.zombit.io), and Coffee Roast Tracker.
1. Accepting these terms
By using the website or any of our apps, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.
If you are under the age of legal adulthood where you live, ask a parent or legal guardian to review these terms with you. A parent or legal guardian who permits a child to use an app agrees to supervise that use and accepts these terms for their own obligations. Nothing here waives a child's rights under applicable law. Accepting these terms does not replace any parental consent required for collecting or using a child's personal information.
2. Your license to use the apps
We give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use our apps on devices you own or control, for personal use or your own work, subject to these terms and applicable store rules. This does not permit resale or redistribution. We, and our licensors, keep all rights in the apps, the website, and their content. You may not copy, modify, resell, or redistribute the apps, or reverse engineer them except where the law allows it.
3. App Store and Google Play
Our mobile apps are distributed through Apple's App Store and Google Play, and the terms of the store you used also apply to you.
- iOS and iPadOS. Your license to an app you get from the App Store is governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add to it. Where the two conflict, Apple's agreement applies, except that any higher liability limit provided by section 12 of these terms applies in your favor.
- Android. Your use of Google Play is governed by Google's terms. Where these terms conflict with Google Play's terms, Google Play's terms apply to that conflict.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
Some apps are paid downloads or offer in-app purchases. Always On Time Plus, when offered, is an optional Android subscription through Google Play, with monthly and yearly plans. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. Before you subscribe, Google Play shows the price, billing period, benefits, and any trial terms. Unless you cancel before a trial ends, it becomes a paid subscription at the price shown. Manage or cancel at Google Play subscriptions. Cancellation normally stops the next renewal; paid benefits continue until the current billing period ends. Uninstalling the app or deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Apple or Google processes purchases and refund requests; we do not receive your card or bank details. Refund rights under applicable law still apply. Subscription changes follow Google Play's rules and applicable notice and consent requirements. Features temporarily offered free may later require a purchase, but we will not automatically enroll or charge you.
5. Accounts
Some features, such as syncing Always On Time settings between phones, need you to sign in with a Google account. Keep that account secure; you are responsible for what happens under it. You can delete your Always On Time account at any time from the app or at alwaysontime.zombit.io/delete-account.
6. The Always On Time assistant connector
The free, optional connector at https://alwaysontime.zombit.io/mcp lets an assistant you connect through OAuth read your upcoming alarms, synced alarm settings, and recent alarm history, and change supported alarm settings. It cannot read or change your calendar directly. Connecting grants ongoing access until disconnected; it does not require a new approval in our app for every action. On Android 16 and later, the optional Gemini integration can read alarm information and change supported settings on your phone without needing our connector or account sync. You can turn it off in Settings › Connected assistants. These assistant features are subject to the alarm warning in section 7 and the assistant provider's own terms and privacy policy.
- It is free and optional. Nothing is shared until you connect an assistant and approve it with your Always On Time account.
- AI assistants can misunderstand you and may send unintended changes, including changes that silence or pause alarms. Check the affected phone to confirm what actually changed; a change saved by the connector may not reach an offline phone until it reconnects. Changes are logged for 30 days and can be undone while the record remains available, unless those settings have changed since. Disconnecting the last assistant deletes the connector's change log. Undo cannot recover a missed alarm.
- You can disconnect at any time in the app (Settings › Connected assistants) or in your assistant. Connections that go unused for 90 days are disconnected automatically.
- We may limit how often the connector can be used, and we may change, suspend, or stop it.
- Your assistant's provider handles your conversations under its own terms and privacy policy. See section 9.
7. Alarms and timers can fail
Always On Time and Montessori Visual Timer try hard to alert you on time, but no app can guarantee it. Alarms can be delayed or silenced by your device's settings, permissions, battery optimization, Do Not Disturb, volume, operating-system updates, a dead or switched-off device, a calendar that hasn't synced, or bugs in our software. Do not rely on our apps as your only reminder for anything important, such as medication, travel, legal or medical appointments, safety-critical tasks, or caring for someone. Use a second safeguard.
Artillery Let Loose's firing solutions are estimates for games. It is an unofficial companion app, not affiliated with or endorsed by the games' publishers. Coffee Roast Tracker's roast levels are general guides based on weight loss.
8. Acceptable use
Don't:
- break the law, or use our apps or the connector to harm anyone;
- try to get into accounts, data, or systems that aren't yours, or probe, overload, or disrupt our services;
- get around usage limits, security, or purchase checks;
- use automated means to access the connector or our services other than through an assistant you've connected yourself;
- copy, resell, or redistribute the apps or their content.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these rules.
9. Third-party services
Our apps work with services we don't control: your calendar provider (such as Google Calendar), Google sign-in, AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT, the App Store and Google Play, and, in some apps, advertising and analytics providers named in that app's privacy policy. Their own terms and privacy policies govern your use of them. We aren't responsible for their services, availability, or content.
10. Privacy
How each app handles your information is described in its privacy policy, linked from each app's page on zombit.io. The website's own practices are at zombit.io/privacy.
11. No warranties
The website and apps are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise the apps will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any alarm, calculation, or result will be accurate or on time.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Zombit Studios LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data, or opportunities arising from a missed, late, or incorrect alarm or result. Our total liability to you for claims arising from the affected app or service is limited to the greater of US $50 or the total you paid for that app or service, including subscriptions and in-app purchases, during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. The disclaimers in section 11 and the limits in this section do not exclude or limit liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or anything else that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit. Your non-waivable consumer rights and remedies remain unchanged.
13. Ending use
You can stop using an app at any time. Uninstalling does not delete an Always On Time account, disconnect assistants, or cancel a subscription; use the controls described in sections 4–6. We may suspend or end access for violations of section 8. We may also discontinue an app, feature, or service, with reasonable advance notice where practical. Any rights to refunds or other remedies under applicable law or store rules remain unchanged. Account-data retention and deletion follow the applicable privacy policy. Sections 7, 11, 12, and 15 continue to apply after use ends.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will post each version with its effective date. For material changes, we will give reasonable advance notice through the affected app, connection flow, or another available contact method. Changes apply prospectively and do not alter rights or disputes that arose before their effective date. Where fresh agreement is required, we will ask for it. If you do not agree, you may stop using the affected service; your existing purchase and refund rights remain unchanged.
15. Governing law
California law governs these terms, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise. Disputes may be brought in a California state court or a federal court in California that has jurisdiction and proper venue. This is not an exclusive forum requirement where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live. Nothing here requires arbitration or waives access to an eligible small-claims court.
16. General
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect to the extent allowed by law. These terms and the applicable store license and purchase terms form our agreement with you about use of the website, apps, and connector. They do not override non-waivable consumer rights or the information-handling commitments in our privacy policies.
